Interim Planning Policy for Mobile Catering Units

Gloucester City Council has published a proposed interim planning policy for Mobile Catering Units for public consultation between Monday 2 November and Monday 14 December.  Once adopted it will be used by the Council’s planning department until the completion of the full Gloucester City Plan, expected in 2017.

The permanent and regular stationing of a mobile catering unit normally requires planning permission because of the change of use of the land on which the unit is situated. It is appropriate to consider a planning application both on its own merits and also against appropriate national and local planning policies.

The Council would therefore like to receive your views on the proposed interim planning policy by the closing date of Monday 14 December 2015. Your comments may be sent via email to spatialplanning@gloucester.gov.uk or by post to Gloucester City Council, Herbert Warehouse, The Docks, Gloucester, GL1 2EQ.

This consultation has now closed.
